FYI for clients who's pups enjoy the Hill's d/d Salmon and Potato formula:

"Novel proteins can be difficult to source and occasionally supply issues arise. Unfortunately, Hill’s is currently experiencing just such a supplier shortage of ingredients in our dry formulas of d/d® Canine Salmon and Potato.

Please know that this is a supplier issue and not a quality issue. Hill’s is committed to the use of only the highest quality novel proteins in Prescription Diet, and we are as disappointed as you that we may be temporarily unable to provide pet parents with this dry product for their pets."

We are currently only able to order the 7.98kg and 3.63kg sizes of the dry food. No other food has been affected so far!

Grandview Animal Hospital is a full service veterinary hospital that has been serving the community since 1989. We are located in the community of Winona, nestled between Grimsby and Stoney Creek. Our mission is to provide up to date veterinary care with a compassionate approach, while keeping pet owners informed and involved in the health decisions of their pet. Our staff members thrive on getting to know our clients and treating our patients as we would our own pets! While most of our patients consist of cats and dogs, we can also provide medical care for smaller species such as hamsters and guinea pigs that are ill.

Grandview Animal Hospital has two dedicated full time veterinarians, a friendly receptionist, an animal care attendant/groomer, as well as two veterinary technicians. We partake in continuing education and often meet with veterinary industry representatives to keep up to date with the latest veterinary care and research that helps us serve you and your beloved pet better.

Here at Grandview Animal Hospital, we offer many services such as cat and dog spays and neuters, dentistry, radiology, preventive care, nutritional counseling, and grooming. For first time puppy and kitten owners, we have both basic and comprehensive puppy and kitten wellness packages at a comparable price. Specialty surgeries such as cherry eye repairs, torn cruciate repairs and mass removals can be performed as needed. For more information about these services, please follow the link at the top of the page.

More recently, Grandview has acquired a WebStore for our valued clients, meaning you can shop online for prescription and non-prescription diets, treats, toys, accessories for dogs, cats and small animals, and more; leaving you with more time to spend with your family and pets! You have the choice of picking up in store, or having your purchase delivered to an address of your choice. There is also an option to have a reminder e-mailed to you when your pet is due for more food, so you’ll never run out again! Follow the link at the top of the page for more information or to register and view our great selection of products.
